Meet the Team: Judd Morgan

Categories:

Judd has been a part of the team for three years. He’s the designated team lifter, responsible for moving all heavy objects from one side of the office to the other as required.

He’s as much of a nerd as the rest of us, and we’re surprised he didn’t talk more about his 200 item level, Orc Fury Warrior Kutchka.

He’s pretty good at PPC marketing too, let’s ask him some questions.

What’s your job title?

Paid Media Executive.

What do you do at Xaso?

I create, manage, analyse and optimise.

What do you do outside of work?

I’m big into weightlifting and when the weather is warmer I love cycling. I enjoy reading books, particularly sci-fi and country westerns, and I also enjoy playing PC games and cooking.

What music do you like? List your top five tracks.

I don’t really have a type. My top five for last year were Doorman by Slowthai, Long Live the Chief by Jidenna, Wile Out by Ms Dynamite, Gypsy Woman by Crystal Waters (thanks mum) and Mr Majestic by Calibre and High Contrast.

What’s your ideal holiday?

I would have usually said an overseas destination with music and a lively crowd, but right now I would love to go to the Maldives and stay somewhere with a private beach. Next on the list would be to explore Thailand.

What’s your go-to productivity trick?

Grab a coffee and put on a playlist. On Record on Spotify is a mix of songs and podcasts done by the artists and it’s great for this.

Are you an early bird or a night owl?

100% a night owl and I’m always fighting against it. I have been like this for as long as I can remember.

What’s your favorite film?

Nothing comes to mind if I’m honest. But I love a corny science fiction series like Dark Matter

What energizes you at work, and what drains you at work?

I love a bit of social interaction, it really perks me up. I would say the most draining part of my job is just the time at a desk.

What’s a work-related accomplishment that you’re really proud of?

Just the results we’re achieving. I guess it’s not hugely specific, but it’s good to see the work you’re a part of going well.

What’s an outside of work accomplishment you’re really proud of?

I’m really proud of my weight loss, I’m down around 38 kg in total since I started, and I had a goal last year of pulling a 200 kg deadlift – it was an extremely proud moment.

What’s your biggest work pet peeve?

Probably just the cycle/walk to work when the weather is horrible.

What’s one thing you like about work?

The shorter weeks are really nice, the flexibility, also it’s a very relaxed atmosphere in the office. The beach.

If you could add one thing to Xaso’s office, what would it be?

Herman Millers ?.
